What's Super Chibi Round 2? It's the next step in the Super Chibi miniatures line. Super Chibi is a shared universe that spans four new and interesting worlds, created by MidKnight Heroes. Each world has its own style and flare but is 100% pure Chibi. The Super Chibi worlds have everything from mecha and cyborgs to monsters and even fantasy.

So, what can you use these miniatures for? Anything! They can be used for board games, role-playing games or simply collector's pieces. The ultimate goal is for the miniatures to have their own game, and this Kickstarter project takes important steps in that direction.

New Caster:

We always strive to be the best we can be and this time, this Kickstarter will feature a new caster. This caster has over 25-years of experience and has cast for companies like Reaper miniatures, Avatars of War and has even done work for Adepticon as well. Well feel that they are a perfect fit for the Midknight Heroes family.

Each of our miniatures will be scaled at 30mm, cast in resin and will require assembly and paint. All miniatures in this Kickstarter are intended for play in our upcoming Super Chibi A.C.E. game, launching via Kickstarter, next year. [See the bottom of this page for more info on A.C.E]

So sometime over the night we hit funding! YEAH! This is great now we have 29 days to open stretch goals. That is a crazy amount of time to open up goals! Let's start off with SG#1 Me'Thule. Me'Thule is a crossover character of ours, he was originally designed to be part of our "Omega Saga" universe, and he still will be but we loved him so much we wanted a Chibi version as well.

So with that said, we set out and created a Chibi version of him. Jansky the artist that did this conversion did a great job if you as us.

So after we converted him into a chibi we thought long and hard of what Super Chibi world did we want to put him in. The first choice was Super Chibi S.E.E.D. since we will have cyborgs, mecha, and all that good stuff there. But to use that was the easy choice and we did not want it to be easy. So we put him in the world where he would be the most out of place and make a difference. You see Me'Thule is a robotic knight. He has the same core values as that of a knight of old and even follow a code of conduct that he himself, created. So with that values, why not drop him into the world of crime filled sector 7. So that's what we did.

Now Me'Thule will unlock at $2000 and be 30mm, cast in resin and will require assembly. Also, the pic you see above is not the final pose, our Sculptor Heriberto Valle Martinez will be given control to design a pose for him that will fit.

Now if your concerned about the first concept, don't be. We have plans to get that sculpted and released at some point. We want to focus on the Chibi side for right now but he will come at some point.

Let see if we can hit the $2000 mark and get him unlocked.

Heroes so far this Kickstarter is doing well and we are on pace to open up a few stretch goals. We have a goal to hit $1500 but the end of the day and I think that will happen. Keep up the great work and help spread the word!

Updates:

This will be the last update for a few days. I will be in the hospital to get my heart looked at and will not have time to update you all. Don't worry I will still be around and if you have any questions you can still get ahold of me and I will get back to you ASAP.

Super Chibi A.C.E.

The game is ready for playtesting and we are putting the final touches on the print and play packet. We hope to be able to show off the box design by the end of this Kickstarter or soon after but, we are waiting on art for that so look for that soon.

Well, I know it's not much but that is really all I have for now. As we get more I will update you.

next stretch goal to add another mini for free is at $2000 and currently it stands at $1,443 so with a bit of luck we should hit it (after that the next stretch target is $3500)
