Alright... Playing with some of the Blood Angels formations, and considering a null deploy list?

HQ : Captain Karlaen

Elites: Dreadnought with 2 heavy flamers, Drop Pod with Locator Beacon

Troops: Tac Squad, 5 man with Meltagun. Captain has Combi-Melta, melta bombs. Drop Pod with Locator Beacon

Troops: Tac Squad, 5 man with Heavy Flamer, Captain with Combi-Flamer, melta bombs, Drop Pod with Locator Beacon


Archangels Orbital Intervention Force

3x 5 Terminator units, 2x lightning claws and 3x thunder hammer/storm shield in each


The battle plan is pretty simple. First turn two of the drop pods will come in, deploying flamers and meltas but more importantly creating locator beacon points. The second turn, the terminators will come in (almost guaranteed with the reroll from Karlaen) and do not scatter near the drop pods, going right into assault to beat faces.

I've though about a list very, very similar to this. Looks good. Although you might as well go furioso for your dread and maybe use teleport homers in addition to or instead of locator beacons. The teleport homer can get your terminators that much closer to the enemy.
