Jealous that Horus is Warmaster

Hey all,
I took my double Defender double black Squadron list to the FLGS's weekly tournament last night and after 2 victories (where the black Squadron died with little return against a chirnau youngster-rage list and a ryad/tomax/something list that I beat 100-0), I ran into a buzz saw of a scum list.
It was a bus (6 ps pilot w/ 180 degree arc on cannons, ig-88d crew, HLC, fcs and possibly a few other tricks) and ig-88 (gunner-style), also with fcs, HLC and other things (I'm sure)... I managed to knock both below 1/2 (ig down to 2 hull) before losing my last ship (ryad lasted longest)...
I got some unlucky dice (rolling too many evades on the first shot) and crits, and made a maybe critical Targeting choice towards the end to shoot at the bus instead of the bot, but that was primarily on the margin. And my list clearly could've been somewhat stronger (even though I was 3rd - tie broken by mov for 2nd -in the tournament).
But anyone have any ideas for dealing with this beast? I actually put the most damage on it all night, but I don't know what the other lists she faced were like...

That was essentially my list at the last tourney, probably with some minor variations. And although removing the gunner element from the list sounds great, that is what the player wants. The aggressor has three green dice, probably autothrusters and if he sees you gunning for him, a token. You will break yourself. You focus down the bus asap. Yes, attack those damn Star Destroyers at point blank range. Barring bad dice, it will go down very fast. And at range 1, it can't attack again if it gets a bad roll. You'll get hurt, so make sure you bring overwheling focus fire.

Maybe it can't double tap the same ship at R1 but it can shoot another ship with the cannon. Got pasted that way a few times in the game...

No matter what you do, you're bound to get some shots coming your way, that's a given. Especially with a 180 degrees firing HLC. If you were looking for a "he never even picks up the red dice" option, then short of swerving the long way 'round and trying for the "up the kilt" shot, you,re pretty much hosed.
