So I have been seeing a lot of gladius at my local events. White scars, ultra, even lions blade DA.

We mostly see objective missions (the obv bread and butter of battle company) but haven't seen a lot of KP missions were they struggle that much.

Long story short, Do you think that KP missions are basically an auto loss verses most competitive builds these days?

Obviously white scars is the obv powerful choice but do you think other chapter tactics can work as well? Is lions blade good enough to be competitive?

Not really becuase in tournaments 9/10 times the way they win is via table, not objectives.

The gladiolus and lions blade are designed to clear tables.

It's only real strength is maelstrom.

IH tactics work good with it too.

Gladius doesn't clear tables - it just doesn't get tabled.

KP's arent gonna kill a Gladius, it's not 5E, events tend to not run straight KP missIons, partially because KP's are an inherently flawed and awkward mechanism (that makes a Drop Pod worth as much as a Reaver Titan), and partially because people find such missions boring.

we often have 1 KP primary mission in our events.
