When adding forces to battlescribe, you can add formations, and not just use the CAD. It took me a minute to figure out that the dread was there as an aux pick, and not as part of the demi-co.

Where is the captain going and what is his job? I’m guessing hitching a ride with the pod tacs, and then going to wreck face. If that’s the case, I might invest a little bit into the sarge there, to give him a little backup. Another place for him to be would be to sit back and tank for the Devs, but he’s a little over geared for that job.

IMHO you should never take a single meltagun on a squad. You miss 1/3 of the time, can roll poorly on the armor penetration check, or something irrelevant on the damage chart. That’s not even counting targets in cover or with an invuln. If you are going with melta here, at least get the sarge a combi. You don’t often see TLHF razors. Probably because they don’t make a model for one. But also template weapons on the turret are going to be hard to use, and if you move fast, you can’t snap-fire them. Although if you are within 12” of an IC, your formation gives you PotMS, so that works. I’d still stick with bolters or one of the upgraded turrets.

Not a fan of the speeders. HBs and MM never want to be shooting at the same thing, or at the same range. If you do want to mix AV and anti-infantry firepower, I’d go with the classic tornado pattern of MM/HF. It has a lot of history behind it, and wants to be up close not mater what gun it’s shooting. But I’m a big fan of the TML/HB speeder. If I were you, I’d drop one of them for points for upgrades elsewhere.

Dread is fine. Might enjoy a pod, but works fine footslogging.

I’m a 4xLC Dev squad guy these days, but MLs can work.

Overall I think your list is reasonably balanced. I think you might be a little light on AV fire, but that’s hard to gauge at 1,000 points and varies depending on the local meta anyway.
