Hi been fancying a Death watch force for a while but just felt they seemed a little bland, and didn't feel particularly elite.
So figured that Raptors with Issodon would be a good stand in offering some scouts, reserves manipulation and stealth along with providing the all important grav. Unfortunately that mean the only
DW squad I have is a stalker bolter Aquilla kill team because it's an excuse to use these guys

On top of this I've thrown in a callidus assasin as I figured it would make a good stand in for a Kill Marine along with synergising with Lias with more reserves manipulation and Lias sabotage weakening units for the callidus to finish off, the callidus also adds to the pressure of the infiltrating units hopefully increasing their odds of surviving to second turn. How ever I'm not sure of how to go about modeling this, best idea so far is a space marine scout with extra pouches/more exotic looking weapons or use it as excuse to bring the old Sly Marbo model out of retirement.
Looking for any general comments and suggestions but thoughts that spring to mind would be the following:
1) How to stick more Deathwatch in there? Only idea I've got is swapping the Multi melta devastors for a Frag Canon Aquila team, but they would the be able to provide a similar amount of antitank for taking out heavy vehicles? Also they would lack first turn stealth to increase their survival odds and scout to get 12" range for optimal first turn effectiveness. On the plus side they can take storm shields which might not be points effective but gives me an excuse to use these models
https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-GB/Legion-MKIII-Breacher-Siege-Squad which I've fancied for a while and would also add some aesthetic diversity to the army.
2) Scouts or storm talons? keep 4 squads of scouts in land speeder storms or do a straight swap out of 2 for skyhammer storm talons, scouts give more ob sec but the talons give more mid range fire power, some anti-air and should come in fairly reliably with the re-rolls for reserves. Again along with bringing in a frag squad it would also bring more diversity to the force.
Any way here is what I've come up with for so far:
Raptors
Lias Issodon (175pts) (goes with the Stalker Squad to confer shrouded and due to weapons matching up well.)
Sternguard Veteran Squad (290pts) (Infiltrates to provide anti
MC alpha strike)
10 sternguard 2 grav cannons
Sternguard Veteran Squad (290pts) (Infiltrates to provide anti
MC alpha strike)
10 sternguard 2 grav cannons
Devastator Squad (180pts) (Infiltrates to provide anti
AV alpha strike, bulked up to 10 man for ablative wounds)
10 Devastators 4 Multi meltas
Scout Squad (115pts) (4 of these squads, provide mobile obsec, combi flamers to help snatch objective from weakened squads, multimeltas on storms to finsh off weakened vehicles, any advice on how to best use these units?)
5 Scouts, bolters, combi flamer
Landspeeder Storm, Multi melta
Aquila Kill Team (308pts) (hold back field with Lias, harrassing infantry and
MCs, looking awesome)
9 veterans with stalker bolters, terminator with cyclone missile launcher
Callidus Assassin (145pts)
Helps seize the initiative as first turn will help this list alot, adds pressure with the other infiltrated squads, can finish off any weakened infantry squads. Against forces who don't have a warlord in a death-star it would be tempting to use Lias sabotage and this guy to go for first turn slay the warlord but failing that just go for any targets of opportunity.
Thanks for any advice.
