Veteran Knight Baron in a Crusader

At my desk

So I'm just about finished building the models from my Start Collecting! Sylvaneth box and while I'm super happy with how the miniatures look, I've noticed something...

My Tree Lord Ancient is covered in very fine branches that will very easily bend and snap. I've tried putting it in my Citadel Crusade Figure Case and I can't seem to find a good angle to put it in so that everything is safe, I can get it in but I'm not 100% confident that it'll hold out for a hard trip. The Dryads and Branchwych I've managed to wiggle in so that their branches are safe, but this Tree Lord has left me confounded.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Cheers lads.

Hi!
I also play sylvaneth and what I did and what i think is the best is to magnetize you models!
I got some neodym magnets from aliexpess (you have to wait a month, but 3$ for 50 pieces is awesome). I glued them with superglue under my models and I have metal box from the diy market (32x22x10 cm for 12€). I can stick them inside and they are stron enough to shake the case around and to put it upside down!
My first magents were 10x2mm but they are a bit strong, I now ordered 6*2mm ones.
Keep in mid to not glue it in the middle, so you can tilt your models to take them out (I glued them always to the side where the dryad is facing so i know in what direction I have to tilt them).
Not one model was harmed by now
you can get a bigger box, but mine is big enough to store the start collecting box, 5 tree revenants and 3 kunoth hunters!

Good luck!

I'd have to agree with alexxk's approach. I don't have a Tree Lord Ancient, but I don't think I'd feel safe putting it into the Crusade Figure Case. I'd only put it into a laser-cut foam section specifically for it. Magnetizing it probably your safest option unless you want to buy into a whole other transport system.

Yeah magnets are great. When I played WM/Hordes I had them under bases. They were strong enough that once I figured how to ensure the GLUE between base and magnet doesn't give in I could hang the heavy metal jacks upside down(literally. I had box with khador on up and cygnar on bottom. Only the magnet prevented gravity from resulting in falling models.

Being plastic these models should be walk in the park.

As a friend of someone who play 3 vanguard wings (30 prosecutors), your question make me smile
