Honestly this army is a left over from 2x masque boxes + some extra to get a "free" 1500 point army (the DW is what bought for, the eldar are extra).
Is it viable is the question?

1x DJ is in a transport troupe, 1x Shadowseer is in the other. Ingriams runs with the group of 12 and runs in cover to get some 2+/3+ cover saves etc. TBH I think the army is fun but will be very hard to play. Just curious on opinions (is predominatly a free army so why not).

So I would totally recommend using the extra model that is the gunner for the void weaver and convert him to a shadowseer. I stole that idea from someone here on this board. It is pretty easy to make the staff using the spear, harlequin mask, and part of the haywire gun to convert it up. If you have 2 star weavers then that is 2 more shadowseers. Shadowseers are one of the best and versatile units we have. I run 2 with phantsmancy and 1 with telepathy (Give this one the mask of secrets) I really think trying to play this list at 1500 you would really struggle but if you were to make it 1000 or 1250 it would be pretty dangerous. As far as the load out of each troupe I prefer to divide my troupes into their battle field role (or their role in the reenactment of the fall of the elder) . So I run 3 troupes in star weavers each with a shadowseer, one unit has all caress (goes after tanks and knights) the other one has 2 caress and 3 kisses (I typically send this one into HQ units) and the final one I run 3 embraces and 2 kisses (I send them into horde units or just weak units in general). If you were going to give your troupe extra pistols I would just use fusion just because it will help with any armor (though be careful cause if you have to be so close to get the melta benefit that if it does blow up your going to lose some space clowns.)

My harlequin army is one of the funnest armies to play and it has changed the way I play the game. You will learn that every single model is crucially important. Plus the modeling and painting options make for totally unique army. Not bad for a "Free army".

Cheers mate some good input, it is much appreciated. Honestly they have been on the back burner for a bit (Trying to finish my DW army painting etc) but I will get back to them soon. I did recently get a few more Shadowseers and another Death masque box (want to do a Cegorach's revenge formation). I will definitely incorporate your input when I get a chance to finish painting and planing the army.

If you are taking Bikes and not in a formation then take the Blades Fate (its only like 5-10pts more) and you get Re-roll Jinks.

Honestly, take more Caress and less Kiss, Caress literally can hurt everything in the game, a unit with 3-4 with Hit and Run means you can even kill knights.

I had a a couple models kill a Monolith, its so fun seeing S3 dudes kill a AV14 model.

You can keep a Kiss in each unit if you wanted a S6, you can do 2 Caress, 1 kiss or 2 and 2 (if you have the points)

My 1st 4-5 games was 1 unit full of Caress's, 1 full of Kiss's and another full of Embrace's.

I learned fast how much better a Caress is in compare, it will have its downs sometimes tho, but thats way redundancy is good.

@vegadecay I think Harlequins does best less than 1500 like you said, Im taking them in 1850pts tournaments and its a struggle, 1250 would be amazing for Harlequins, 1500 really is the highest one should go without allies.
