Xenofera is a strategic card game where you and your friends compete to build the most valuable collection of xenofera, alien creatures, from across the galaxy. The game supports 2-5 players with a play time of 30-75 mins or roughly 15 mins per player. It's $30 for over 200 cards. The Kickstarter ends on 11/08 at midnight.
It's gotten great reviews and I really enjoyed playing it myself. Here is a sample play though of a beta version by Ant Lab Games:
