Okay so I'm currently trying to figure out how to use the following miniatures that i currently am stocked with.
90 Legion Mk.IIIs from Prospero
50 Legion Mk.IVs from Calth
15 Legion Tartaros Terminators Prospero
15 Legion Cataphractii Terminators Calth

I did ask earlier about which legion that i should go with, but i think that i didn't give enough information for people to best sort out what forces i should go with.

Some of the Vehicles that i like include.
Dreadnoughts = Contemptors, Deredeo, and Leviathans let's be honest I really love dreadnoughts, just wish they had stronger rules for them
Rhinos / Predators = my plan is to kinda break the mold a little, i'm going to make them with Mars pattern with the extra armor panels that forge world has produced, i prefer this design over the Demios pattern
Spartans these warmachines are also awesome, i don't think that i'd be able to acquire more than one of them, but i wish i could have more.
Stormeagles / FireRaptors = I like these fliers, but like i said i don't know when i'd be able to get my mits on one or more

Other units that i really like are...
Tyrant Siege Terminators - I really like the idea of missile battery terminators, also i really like terminators.
Legion Mk.IV Outrider bikers - they look awesome

The other faction that i'd play if i had the skill to assemble FW would of been Legio Cybernetica

So my question for all of you is trying to place these units into a army force OR multiple legions...
I love Space Wolves fluff
Really like Iron Warriors fighting style and mechanical units
Ultramarines also have nice fluff, but i don't care for the fact that they get too much "Hate"

I also have thought of using some of these guys maybe for a Post Heresy Iron Hands successor chapter.

Any ideas that you folks have
- Weapon loadouts
- were to put the models i have
- Any opinion on were to go next

I honestly think that you should go with iron hands. They can use good amounts of walkers and tanks. The Rite of War, Head of the Gorgon, gives you a liberal out of vehicles PLUS Legio Cybernetica allies.

I did look at Iron Hands, it is just that their special units that are unique to them are ok. (unless im missing something with them)
Then again if their rules really strengthen the rest of the units then that's fine then.

Which types of Maniples can they take as "elites", i'd like to know for my own sake.

the real question i'd have is should i invest all of these minis i have on 1 legion? also what kinds of units would you folks suggest?

Iron hands special units are actually pretty damn strong. You have to remember to factor in the -1 str to shooting attacks. That means any fnp they have is going to stay short of strength 9 or better. Plus adding Ferrus Manus gives bonuses to all your vehicles plus their rite of war.

Interesting, that sounds like they might all be really nasty.

By the way does someone know which mechanicum units they can take as legion cybernetica maniples? I'm asking cause they have a special rule that lets you take them as a elite choice, and that might also interest me for my purposes.

So from what i've seen a base build is needing loads of Boltgun marines.

The added bonus of going Iron Hands is that I can use their awesome ruleset for 40k when i want to play against my friends who want to play none heresy games.
What alternate color schemes do you guys know of for Iron Hands space marines?

Airbrush a silver base coated then cover it with a thin transparent black coat. Then paint all the trim silver. Add dirt effects wherever. This creates a very gritty paintjob
