I could use some help figuring out the Timeline for the Thousand Sons. After the attack on Prospero, the Thousand Sons fall back to the planet of Sorcerers, but from there how does their timelien work out in regards to the Siege on Terra and the death of Horus? The reason I ask is because I am trying to figure out an accurate paint scheme got my 30k Thousand Sons. The Ruberic is cast and as I understand it, that's when the armor goes blue and yellow. Until Prospero the Thousand Sons were not involved in the Hersey, but after that they were. So would it not be more accurate to paint them Blue and yellow? Or was the Runeric cast after the death of Horus and the retreat into the Eye?

Rubric is post horus death, so basically any TS you have faffing about during the heresy/great crusade would be red

As to the TS being involved in the heresy: Unless fluff is changing/has changed, they basically sat it out and played neutral. In part because bitterness (Ahriman points out in one of the short stories that they were betrayed by the Emperor, but Horus had nothing to offer them) and in part because Magnus didn't want to be uninformed again (pointed out in the same short story and when Khan saved him from being split up and stuck on Prospero)

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.

I think the events of the Ahriman novels are when their armour is turned blue.
Though in the blades of the traitor image Ahriman and the Thousand Sons are wearing blue.
