Hello all, I am thinking about getting into aos and have decided to start off with Orruks. Right now I am trying to decide if I should go with Bonesplitterz or go with Ironjawz. I want the army to be a semi competitive and fun. Which would be good to go with? Also would like to know what a good core would be for the army. Thanks!!!

orkz are da best!!!

There are already several threads discussing orruks right now. Both ironjawz and bonesplitterz are actually very competitive. It all depends on your preferred playstyle.

Ironjawz are more of low model count elite units that can strike hard and fast while being tough as nails, whereas Bonesplitterz are more of a horde army that wins through sheer volume of wounds and attacks. Not that you just place them on the table and win, though.

In the long term, bonesplitterz are also easier to use as a core army because they have generic battleline units for destruction allegiance, so you can more easily bring allies for them from any other destruction allegiance.

Bonesplitters have more tricks as well, have more magic to play with and their mages do have some nice items.

While Ironjawz do one thing, they just do it exceptionally well.
