Hi all, just starting 40k again after 10 years out. Always had a soft spot for the Wolves and wondered if people could help me with the list!

So the overall tactics will be: Warlord joins the 4 TWC and the Iron Priest joins the larger unit. They will try and get accross the board asap, same with the Wulfen. I have the long ranged firepower from my Long Fangs offering covering fire. I then have 3 drop pods of Blood Claws to deep strike in tactical positions, be it to try and blow up heavy armour with my Pack Leader or take objectives...

When I collected in the past I had no idea what I was doing and I have done a fair bit of research but I have no actual experience playing games.

Is this list viable for fun and competetive play?

Is there any alterations you can help me with.

Take the wulfens out and make a murderpack from them for some neat rules abd new rolls on kill/hunt table. Especially if you are running Bloodclaws.

What's your plan for flyers? I don't think the Longfangs will make much of a dent (unless they are very lucky). Or is the plan to get into CC and ignore flyers?
