What loyalist legion works the best with BaC?

My friend and I are splitting the box between the two of us and he was wondering what loyalist legion (I am playing NL and he is going loyalist) would work best by splitting it down the middle.

Depends on how you're splitting it. Honestly though, nothing in that box will be out of place with any legion.

I was thinking of my night lords having the dread, two 10-man tactical squads, and the chaplain. Leaving him the termies, termie-capt, and the one 10-man tactical squad. Thoughts?

Really any could work. But if you wanted to go fluffy, Dark Angels would be good to face off against NL. Plus they can make good use of termies.

Dark angels, blood Angels, and Ultramarines would be good for BAC

If you are going NLs don't make them Tacs, order some volkite chargers from Forgeworld and make them terror squads. I concur that Dark Angels would make the best loyal legion to fight against from a fluff perspective.

Ultramarines are nice if you make them Sniper Veterans given their pseudo-markerlight capabilities that work well with MSU tactics. Ultramarine Legionanyairies are generally rather vanilla-looking compared to most other legions and so won't look too out of place with just the BaC armour without any of the FW conversion bits. You also have the transfer sheet from the box itself for markings. Order some Invictarius Suzarins from FW, a couple of special weapons to make Tactical Support squads/Heavy Weapon squads and you're good to go.
