Hey all,

When calculating mov, how are points not taken scored?

I.e. if I kill 61 points out of a 98 point list, am I considered to have killed 61 or 63 points?

I ask because recently, I've been calculating based purely on points destroyed. But I vaguely remember that back in the day it was changed to count points remaining on the board because people were just talking whisper (and no other ships)... I think this was still when decloak happened right before revealing the dial when whisper was totally broken overpowered.

But I don't know that I recall it officially being changed back....

How much you kill. In your example, you would submit to the TO that you killed 61 points. If you kill your opponent's entire squad, you always get 100points.

Your MOV for a match is:

If you win: 100 + (how much you killed - how much your opponent killed)

If you lose: 100 - (how much your opponent killed - how much you killed)

The most MOV you will ever get is 200, the least is 0. Perfect MOV in a tournament would be 200 * the number of rounds.
