I'm "Zaa" I guess, my phone spazzed out when signing up, oh well...sounds 40kish..Haha

Yet another new forum member here that used to play, and has decided to come back.

I used to play back around 2004-2007 or so. Started with Fantsy, then got into 40k. Had a few fantasy armies, nothing spectacular. Then when I started 40k I built a Necrons army. By the time I ended I had started collecting a pretty vanilla space marine army. Got out of playing for one reason or another, sold all my stuff, now here I am.

I started reading, listening to podcasts, and watching youtube videos a few weeks ago for some reason to see how and where 40k was. Bad mistake I guess, it sucked me right back in.

I contemplated over what army I would like to get into if I got back into it, I love my old Necrons, and they seem to be pretty good right now in this edition, but I also wanted something a bit more on the building and painting side of things. I really like Chaos Space Marines, but, thanks to this site mainly, it seems that they aren't a good army to get into at the moment. I really like the looks of the Skitarii, but lack of models and alot of info kind of steered me away.

Alas, I made a choice, to the army that I was very close to starting back about 10 years ago when I originally played.

I know, I have heard that they are pretty high powered right now, and seem to be almost overly used. But, I dig em anyways. And, half drunk this past holiday weekend, I bought the codex on ebay. So that settles my army choice.

Now alot to do I guess. My wife will probably kill me, adding yet another expensive hobby. Oh well.

I have lots of questions I'm sure, and things to re-learn and new stuff to learn. Can't wait to get some models to build and paint. That new Battleforge box coming out looks nice.

One last thing, from the sounds of it, there is going to be a new rulebook coming out next year..? Is that a for sure thing? I would hate to drop the cash on the 7th edition if there is just going to be a new one out next year...that's a unit or two I could get. Hah
