How do you manage WYSIWYG with the genestealer cult models? For example: Hybrid metamorphs as far as I can tell come with 1 claw in a squad of 5. Do I need to buy 5 boxes of these to support 1 squad with claws? Am I missing something here? I am also struggling a bit to identify what makes a hybrid or an acolyte a "leader" model. If it is just the skirt then I am forced to take a leader per box? I feel like I am missing something. I love the fact there are tons of bits to choose from and it will be fun to make creative and cool looking models, but I try to build my guys as I play them and it doesn't seem like it is possible unless I am missing something or I buy a lot of boxes.

If you want to what you see is what you get, then yeah you will need claw per model.

There are bits Store you can buy single piece instead of buy whole box.

E.g.

There are lot of Store that selling piece like bits and kits.

They aren't the only army that works that way either. Many troop boxes only contain one or two of each special weapon (MT/Skitarii for example), and some squads can be outfitted with three or more depending on the additional models added to the squad. WYSIWYG armies require a bit more thought when building the models unless you decide to magnetize them. I spend enough time building the troops that I just glue them in place, but it does mean that I have to think ahead a bit more. Man I miss building my Orks... extra bits GALORE!
