So, going for an all tank army (don't care that they are the best, I love tanks), if I add infantry I can't have my CCT be my Warlord so don't really want any of those. Going to use the Armoured Battle Group FoC and using IAV1E2 point values. Curious if there any major changes it needs (also note when I say heavy bolter I mean sponson and hull). Not planning any too competive but its nice to not lose every match. Any varients of the Leman Russ that are far superior/inferioir to others? Thanks for all the help.

I tend to prefer to get up all close and tasty with loads of veterans with meltas and plasmas, with demolisher's rather than exterminators, though that's just my personal preference as people never expect it, it works best for me and it looks cool as you go full WW1 at them.

There's nothing inherently wrong with your list at all though not a lot of guys to cap objectives.

Fluff-wise, I'm guessing the 5th Company is a mechanised company?

Ah, though I believe the BRB doesn't say anthing against vechiles capping (though they are nessercilary the best choice)
But then you have a SGT. hes a character, no more CCT as warlord

Ah 227th is one of the few regiment that is combined arms (I believe usually each regiment only serves one role and then different regiments work together) because they were required to merge all the defenses into 1 regiment (fluff reasons why, not going to get into details). Each company however serves a seperate role, but aircraft are usually treated as CAS(close air support) instead of their own company (the navy was destroyed by Orks , Tyranids, and Chaos). I might have 1 company that is its own for eysian style but thats a different story. Basic idea is that this way if I want to try a new play style, I just call it a new company. Of course those are future lists, and not relevent to the current topic. The 5th armoured company is fully mechanized yes.

Well of to the field, see how well this works out (no idea why I started with the 5th, but I'm leaving the 1st for last because they are the pride of the regiment and thus should look the best with max customization, quality, care skill in modeling and painting ect.)
