Was thinking of playing my 30K Alpha Legion models as loyalists (who are arguably more meta than Chaos) for an upcoming shop tournament. The general idea is to run a Gladius with full battle company and abuse Objsec/free transports for Maelstrom missions and other objective gametypes.

Captain will join Command Squad to tank hits for them. Chaplain joins a bike squad.
Chapter Tactics wise I was thinking Ultramarines to use doctrines and get pseudo Preferred-Enemy, something I've found to be invaluable playing 30K Alpha Legion. Was also considering White Scars for outflanking transports.

For MSU lists I would highly recommend Land Speeder Storms for your scouts- if you have any that arent snipers. They make excellent objective grabbers and are good for mopping up. A fragile unit, but versatile and fast.

For the double combi-gravs, I would have to double-check the wording but off the top of my head I don't think ccw can be traded for one.
