So, 20 years ago today [or this month to be precise], I was taping a cartoon called 'Botsmaster' for my brother as it was on too early for him to watch and by the Emperor; that show has aged as well as Typhus.
I remember it being a so-so Transformers rip off but watching it today is a nightmare. ALL the characters come off as annoying, obnoxious or are just irritating due to their bad attitudes [it was a 90's cartoon].

Ziff Zoolander [insert 'magnum' gag here] is probably one of the worst leaders I've seen in syndicated toy cartoons. He's uncaring and woman mad

'Blitzy' Zoolander [insert 'blue steel' gag here] is not an 'annoying' sidekick because she's a little girl. She's an annoying sidekick because she's obnoxious, bossy and has a severe attitude problem

I cant help but giggle whenever I hear 'Lady Frenzy's' name spoken as I expect her to have a twin sister named 'Rumble' and thusly for them to both get confused over who is who

Dr Hiss [or is it 'Hisser'] is essentially Cobra Commander with a limp which brings me to my next point:
The robots [or 'Boyz'] Ninjaz and Twig [who honestly names a robot after a stick?] are basically Snake eyes while Twig is either Sideswipe or Turbo [from Gobots] Twig's robot mode is basically Turbo's with a less goofy face

Jungle fiver [who names a robot that has nothing to do with foliage with a name like that] is a gestalt but none of his components have half-decent modes in any of their configuration. If you thought Michal Bays robot designs were ugly, check this thing out.

"Its laser time" is frequently mentioned as the corresponding toyline had 3-D glasses. The glasses supposedly helped the wearer 'see' the battle scenes better but the battle scenes themselves are a pain to watch. Most of the battle scenes include the same few re-used clips. My guess is the shows budget was stretched too far

I'm just surprised this show lasted a full 46 episodes. Did Hasbro ever take action against it for the obvious plagiarism?
Anyway; its best left avoided. DONT get me started on its ear-bleeding intro
