I've followed dakka for awhile and finally decided to actually join the community. I've been playing miniatures/table top since about 1995. I got my first taste with warhammer40k. Over several years I played Imp Guard (catachans) Iron Warriors, Imp Fists, Vanilla marines, SOB and Tau. Eventually I migrated into Warhammer Fantasy and progressed through Multiple Chaos (mostly beastmen) armies, Lizardmen and Ogres. Toyed with a little bit of LoTR uruks. Somewhere in my 40k years I tampered with battletech but never found much of a community for it. I ended up settling into Warmahordes around 2007? I think. I've been through Protectorate, Mercs, Khador, Skorne, Minions and now just Trollbloods. I played various rpgs over the years including dnd (mostly 3ed, 3.5ed), Iron kingdoms and MechWarrior. These days I've toned down to just my trollbloods+IK and my Battletech collection. I've always been a fan of campaigns to tie my battle/games into and really enjoyed the mighty empires GW had when it was supported. That's a decent wall of text to hit you all with so I'll leave it at that for now. I'm always interested in meeting new gamers and getting a game or two in whenever I can.
