Hi. I'm also new to AoS, and starting a nurgle army. I'm going down a different route though, focusing more on slaves to darkness and not using daemons. My plan is to go for a plaguetouched warband, which is kind of the mortal equivalent of the tallyband. I've only played a few games so I'm no expert yet, but here are some thoughts.
First, I think I mostly see people playing 2000 points, not 2500. I'm planning my own army as a 2000 point force that can be expanded to 2500, which is easier than trying to cut down a bigger force to fit. If people in your area play 2500 then ignore me.
Otherwise I think it's a pretty decent set of guys. To get it down you could easily drop the verminlord. I'd consider losing some of the blightkings in exchange for adding more plaguebearers to one of your units, or you could just use the fact that you'd only need 3 battleline units at 2k to your advantage - combining two of the units.
I've found that my blightkings work extremely well if you can give them bonuses to hit. So I'd suggest combining them into two units and taking the general ability where he gets to give a unit +1 to hit. 10 blightkings that do d6 hits on a 5+ would be very dangerous, and a great escort for the Glotts.
