With new SOB kits on the way, I was thinking about starting a new army but wasn't sure what to do.

I was thinking of making a seraphim army called the 'Blue angels' and painting them in the same colours of the air force stunt team
The other idea I had is a bit too...personal

Great! Glad to see someone planning on starting a Sisters of Battle army.

How can we help you figure it out then? : D

Sorry about the delayed response.
My first idea was too 'personal' as my idea for a living saint was too similar to a girl I know

I find it hard to come up with ideas for SOB armies as they don't seem to have any 'iconic' armies. Prior to the upcoming releases, they were just the same few minis [sorry if this sounded heretical]

My idea is to have a seraphim based army, decked out in the Blue angels colours [do get the joke?]

Why not have your Living Saint be Celestine?

Is there any reason she would never show up to assist your army, but another would?

I think Sisters of Battle are iconic enough on their own that simply being Sisters of Battle is good enough.

Yes, I do understand the reference to the Blue Angels. I just didn't feel the need to reply to it.

Are you asking advice on paint schemes? I think you may want to look into learning color theory. I'd help you there if I could, but my fashion sense is simply intuitive, not learned.
