I am looking to expand my Khorne Bloodbound force (and keep it Khorne based) to 2500 points, I have a good idea of what I want to add to it minus the specific cavalry unit.

So far I have,

Mighty Khorne Lord
2 Bloodsecrators
2 Slaughter Priests
Bloodstoker
10 Blood Warriors
60 Blood Reavers
1 Khorgath

I am planning on adding

Skarbrand
2 Skull Cannons of Khorne (For some form of ranged capability)
A few more Khorgath (hoping to have 4 total for 2 units of 2 or 1 unit of 3 if im strapped for points, it all depends on how ebay treats me)
10 Chaos Knights or 6 Mighty Skull Crushers

The hangup i'm having is deciding between the mighty skullcrushers and the chaos knights, they would have the same number of wounds and armor save (shields are mortal wounds vs spell wounds), they both have on charge effects (the knights being slightly better) but the crushers have access to consistent rend, the knights have slightly better mobility while the crushers are less expensive price wise, both can receive the full benefit of the khorne buffs ... i'm thinking that it comes down to whichever aesthetic choice I like the most, i really just want to make sure that I am not missing anything.

Anyone have any other insights or thoughts on which would be the better option, or on the list?

I have run into the same type of scenario as in a tourney i ran both. using the warband Brass stampede, khorne lord on juggy and 2 units on chaos knights, it really depends on who you go up against but i find that the juggys are more intimidating and prompt oppts to go after them. thier stompe can help whittle down units, dont rely too much on thier 4+ ward save against spells, rarely do they get hit with spells and more often are targets of shooting. I will say that which ever type you run consider the bigger block so 10/6. The constant rend does help out alot more than you think.

The Skull Throne

I find Knights to be better in a block of 10, but if I only have points for 5 knights, I prefer to run Mighty Skullcrushers.
