Seasonal holiday salutations!
I've ordered the models to build the following list. I plan on running it as-is, perhaps with shuffling of wargear and other minor changes. My question for you all is to advise on opposing lists that would pose serious problems in ITC format games. I foresee flyer spam, knight spam and av14 spam as being a little tricky to deal with, as well as the standard grav-pod shenanigans, but I'm certain there are more counters than those. Without further ado:
TripTide - 660
-3x Gatling,
SMS,
EWO, Stims
Tau
CAD - 676
-Fireblade
-2x Crisis w/ single Missile Pod
-2x XV109 w/
EWO, Stims
Eldar
CAD - 512
-Autarch w/ Spidey-senses
-2x3 Jetbikes naked
-Sasquatch w/ 1 Scatter Laser
Total - 1848
The basic idea is to have the TripTide wing be the anchoring force with the Autarch keeping everything small in reserves as long as possible, as they're really there just to sneak onto objectives later on. The 109's and the Skathatch can start either on the board or in
DS reserve as they do their best work up close and personal. The resulting feeling of futility and despair my opponents feel when they see what they're up against will help win above the board as well
