Hi guys, thanks for reading. Have been playing Black Templar for years now and am looking for something new to collect. Am an avid history buff and the look and fluff of the Kriegers just gets to me! So im basing the following army more on the tactics used by a Panzer Grenadier Division than what would be actually effective in
40k, however i still want to be able to win games against my friends. That and
FW models are ridiculously expensive so don't want to waste any cash buying something I wont use. Please let me know what you think, if you would change anything, and why.

Ok my reasoning behind the list is as follows, the Heavy Weapons teams hang back and provide cover as the 4 infantry squads slog forward. The Company and Platoon command squads take care of 2 platoons each, marching just behind them making sure orders can reach where they are needed. - Historically German ww2 platoons were made up of a command squad and 4x 10 men strong infantry squads, each with an
MG that would separate and give supporting fire. This is represented by the
TL heavy stubbers (6
MGs, 1x CComm Sqd, 1x PComm Sqd, 4x Inf Sqd). The Lascannons are essentially
AT guns and will be modeled with the Pak 40 in mind.
The Griffin Mortar, is cheap and beautifully represents Sdkfz 251 halftracks with mortars, the carcass shots giving the army some Ignores cover goodness which is badly needed in this meta.
I intend to try and use halftrack models for the chimera chassis where possible kitbashing the weapons to give the army the look i want.
The Hydra Flakk Tank will do what it does best and provide anti air as needed...maybe model it with a wirbelwind?
The Grenadiers, Hellhound and Thunderer are the attacking arm of this list. they will keep together as long as possible supporting each other and should be able to deal with any variety of threat they encounter. The Krieg models look like they would be at home in Stalingrad and so i could not help give them all Flamers

The Hellhoud in my mind is the Sdkfz chassis again, just this time the flame variant, while I will try and mount the Demolisher cannon on a Stuh42 if i find a model that is to scale.
Finally there is the Avenger. 7 S6 Ap3 shots and 2 S9 Ap2... for just 150pts.... need i say more? Can easily imagine it a hybrid between an A10 BRRThog and a Stuka Ju47G with its underwing cannon pods <3
Basically the inf and Hvy Weapons try hold the line, while the mechanized units try overwhelm a flank with the avenger supporting where it is needed.
Im sure it is not Tournament material but do you think it has any chance of beating your average non-cheese gamer?
Many thanks in advance!
