New to the area. Any solid stores and 40k community in charleston sc? I saw there is a small GW store. But didnt know if there was much else.

A few players at Hobby Town West Ashley but I think most migrated to the GW in Mt. P.

I have a group that regularly plays historicals and some fantasy stuff if that interests you. Also look up Charleston Area Wargaming Society on Facebook.

My buddy games down there and said there are a lot of waac gamers doing things like "here is my titan" (shoe box with paper towel tube legs), or using two storm ravens but calling them storm eagles etc etc. So he drives almost 40 min to the Gw store, because there is less of that bs

Thanks a lot for the help. Yeah just looking for casual play. But if I am going to spend money on sicarans and fell blades and actually have them, id rather them not play against a nike or rebok cardboard remake.

Although I haven't played 40k since 6th I still have a Dark Eldar army and some other stuff including 30k. I'm always interested in casual fully painted games on nice terrain so pm me if you need an opponent.

I live in the area and play casually with a couple of friends at our homes. We only play at the local stores once or twice a year though. Would be willing to venture out more if anyone is able to find a good group.

Thats awesome. Yeah I would like to get a few games together . I live in nc. But come down to charlestom every weekend to see my gf. And have sundays to game. So I would love for casual games.
