Good afternoon everyone. I am trying to fill in approx 140pts into my WE force with my current models. I am using Kharn and Gahlan as my two HQ's. My issue is I only have HQ models left to fill the 140pt gap. I was going to add in a Legion Consul as a third HQ, but does Gahlan count as one? I don't see the Support Officer entry in his special rules. I am using Berserker Assault, so I can only have one Consul, hence the dilemma.

No. He's a named character not a centurion that has had a consul upgrade applied.

Yes. And you would be allowed two centurions without consulships and say a primus medicae.

Legion champion would be a fluffy choice and mine has always done well. I equip him with artificer armour, refractor field and a power axe (which becomes master crafted for free). He gets +1 WS in challenges too which is nice. Comes to 130 points off the top of my head.

The problem I find with putting a lighting claw on him is that you don't get +1 attack for 2 CC weapons and, as the champion has to issue challenges if able, he struggles with any character with a 2+ save. If he comes up against a squad sergeant with AA and a power fist he's going to get minced unless the sergeant rolls badly on his armour save.
If you give him a power fist or power axe, he may be striking last but he should be able to weather most attacks with his AA then hit back hard.

Moritats can be fun. Duel plasma pistol can ruin squads and light vehicles. Duel volkite is also fun for infantry killing.
