I am about to purchase the Start Collecting Necrons box, giving me 10 warriors, 3 scarab swarms, 1 overlord and a triarch stalker.

I know im aiming for a list of around 1500pts and would like for you to help me build it.

Im thinking as a start build a Decurion legion.

1 overlord, 2 x 10 warriors, 5 immortals and 3 tomb blades.

Then adding on a Judicator battalion, as i already have the stalker

1 triarch stalker and 2 x 5 triarch praetorians

and finally adding on a canoptek harvest

canoptek spyder, 5 scarabs and 5 wraiths.

that all works out at around 1300pts then upgrade to fill the rest, potentially adding a unit of 5 death marks.

What do you guys think, would this list work?

Overlord
5 Immortals
10 Warriors
10 Warriors
3 Tomb Blades

Triarch Stalker
5 Praetorions
5 Praetorions

5 Scarabs
1 Spyder
5 Wraiths

Looks quite good.
I'd add 3 more Tomb Blades. You cannot have enough of them.

Dont forget about transports for those troops. Necrons still have a fairly decent AV13 spam with your Stalker, Ghost Arks, Bargelords, etc.

So keep everything mentioned but add on three more tomb blades, I dont really know whether its worth taking any transports as I have the fast moving tomb blades, and canoptek harvest and could sit on objectives with immortals and warriors, maybe its worth a ghost arc for the praetorians but im not sure.

With the remaining points I'd get
Ghost ark
heavy gauss cannon on triarch stalker
Overlord upgrades or another 5 immortals.

Honestly think Tomb Blades are kind of overrated, so I wouldn't pick anymore up personally.

Also, you can only put warriors in Ghost Arks. You don't buy Ghost Arks for transport and fast movement, you buy them because they shoot a hell of a lot of shots and are hard as nails to wreck. It's almost a must for any semi-competitive list these days.
