So... I'm considering starting tau.... But where are the rules? I get there's a codex, but there's like tons of other books and supplements, forgeworld etc... Can anyone help me put together a list of all the potential rules and units I could use with my Tau? and most importantly where to get these things? I'm considering not even starting if things are going to be this confusing to even get the basic rules... I have the "killteam" box, but it looks like I still can't play kill team without a Tau codex at minimum?

Guidance would be appreciated...

Google search and download battlescribe - its programme that allows you to create army lists for free, It lists all the different units you can have and where to find the rules for them. It receives regular updates as new things are released.
