I am confused. I read several items about using Issadon with the Cohort, but as I researched it further, I can't confirm much of anything about Issadon and how he is legal to use. (Which codex is he in?)

He's a Forge World character who never got a model, with rules available online, because he was in the Badab War books which are long since out of date.

And even his "updated" rules are at least an edition or so out of date.

Nope. The most recent iteration of his rules is from November 18th, 2013.
