Hi all! Long time no post! A short while back, my Previous LVO list disappeared, and a few deals fell through, leading me to reworking most all of my LVO list. as of right now, I have 2 main lists floating around in my head, and any C&C is welcome
List 1: Tanks!
Spoiler:
++ The Age of Darkness (Legiones Astartes: Age of Darkness Army List v207) (1505pts) ++
····Force Organization ······Battles in the Age of Darkness [Allied Detachment]
Nothing to special, really. I want it to fit the feel of the DG legion, while still being tough enough to not just get wiped by the few power lists that are bound to pop up. Thanks in advance!

Why bring an allied detachment? Unless you just don't have the models for a full detachment of Death Guard or Solar Auxilia?
You have zero ways of dealing with Flyers.
Funny enough, your lists have a lot of armor in them, but no real anti-armor (two Chainfists, two p-fists and two battle cannons won't kill a lot... especially if you run into a super heavy, Spartan, or titan. If you can't take out a Spartan in one turn from shooting, you don't have enough anti-armor.
My predictions about LVO: You will see Mastodons, Spartans, Leviathans, and Contemptors along with a "death star" with a Primarch. Mastodons because they are the new hotness and damn good, Leviathans because, again, new hotness and a good dread, Spartans because it's a Land Raider with a Flare Shield and can transport 10 Terminators and a Primarch and an Apothecary. Contemptors because they come in the Calth and Prospero boxes, and finally, Primarchs, because they are that good. What else? I see a lot of Rapier Quad Mortars and/or laser destroyers.
Last thing- vehicle squadrons... /shudder all the disadvantages of being in a squadron with absolutely no advantages at all except for army building. I'd try and avoid them as much as possible.

Thanks! The allied detachment is there because how cheap it is to add in the decent fire power of a russ, with the sheer number of bodies that can camp objectives and still be usefull combatants.
True, but I'm not too to worried about fliers. Worst case scenario, I can attach a quadgun to the aegis line, or move some points about for a xiphon or deredeo.
IMO the grave wardens form a decent enough AT unit for CC and shorter range (though S: 6 ranged can only do so much), and the battle tanks and dracosan do pump out S: 8 and S: 10 ordinance respectively, though I can see how that might be a bit short.
As for LVO: Yeah on Spartans with primarch death stars, and yeah on a single leviathan in a pod, however Contemptors are too costly (we'll probably see a decent number of dual kheres contemptors) and a Mastadon is far to expensive and kinda 'meh' rules wise from what I've seen. Lovely model, great fluff, but only okay rules. And yes: I know we will see a metric ton of quad mortars, with phosphex, but thankfully, having my Space marines be DG patches some of the threat (4+ FNP again poison )

Deredeo would be optimal. It can do double-duty and has Skyfire and Interceptor. Relying on the Xiphon is not as reliable.
So what you have to do with your lists is ask:
Can I stop a Flare Shielded Spartan/Malcador or an Ionic-Flare Shielded Knight in one turn? Can I survive an army with 6+ Phosphex Quad Mortars? Am I mobile enough to take objectives? Can my list survive contact with a Primarch? Can my list survive contact with a Leviathan? Can I handle a Questoris army?
Right now, that first list looks like it would be dismantled by an optimized list.
The Grave Wardens are good - but this is The Reaping, so they are slow. Without a transport, they won't make contact unless the enemy lets you, because you should be easy enough to outmaneuver. And looking at it, why even take The Reaping? You aren't using Rad Grenades, Vets, or Heavy Support Squads. So you are taking a RoW that gives you MTC at the expense of running and moving flat out. That being said, I don't see a RoW that really screams out for you to use, either. Creeping Death locks you out of Allies. So unless you want to really lean into the Reaping options, maybe find a generic one that has a few perks that suits your lists?
Honestly, I think you should double-down on the Legion and drop the Allies and go hard into the Reaping with a HSS squad for the SB, some transports, and more firepower (Deredeo, Venator).

Thanks! And yeah, looking back at the lists, they were far from the best. I'm hoping to bring something fluffy for DG, but still semi competative. As it stands, for better or worse, I'm not all to stressed about Spartans or Quad Mortars (a 4+ FNP mitigates them a bit, though maybe a creeping death cover save buff?) from my own experience, I've never really worried about mobility (usually a case of good luck saves wise and me getting to the objectives/mid field anyways ;P) After a light bit of reworking here's what it ends up looking like until I play test a bit more:
Spoiler:
+++ LVO list - No allies (Warhammer 30,000 - The Horus Heresy v40) (2500pts) +++
++ The Age of Darkness (Legiones Astartes: Age of Darkness Army List v201) (2500pts) ++
the xiphon and a few other minor things are not set in stone, and mostly a replacement since the guy who was gettin' me the quad mortars has backed out :( but beyond that, this list is pretty self explanitory. Typhon hopes for invis, and runs with the grave wardens, hopefully dealing with anything silly enough to charge them.
