Morning/afternoon/evening all

so regionals is coming up in a few weeks in my area and i've been smashing out games and trying lists and i've now got 3 lists in mind with 3 that i haven't play tested as of yet. any feedback would be appreciated.

List 1 - 99PTS

this list has done better than i had expected. dropping Vader down if the need arises might be of benefit so that all three are firing at the same time.

Now this these ones are experimental at the moment. i plan on testing them tomorrow evening and i'll try to remember to put up the results.

experimental List 1 - 100pts

Now my thoughts on this one is to basically force them to spend their focus to block a shot with Jax and then pound them with both OLeader and Rexler using their Juke ability.

Now this i think could be interesting. First turn in range i'll be target Locking with both Vader and Jax to give Vess her TL and then fire off CVessery and her Tractor to reduce agi and then rinse and repeat. the added bonus (along with all of the others) is that when i start to get into the thick off it i'll be trying to have Jax in close to negate any focus and evade tokens.

List 1:

Have you considered dropping SD from Carnor to add sensor jammer on the shuttle? It might require slow rolling Jax a bit to begin with (to avoid r3 sniping) but the jammer with jax and a juker could keep the shuttle alive notably longer. I haven't played this list, but I've been wanting to...

Not much to say about #2 or #3. Both look solid, but if you run into Asajj or a stress list, Vader turns into a bit of a brick.

One note about #3: i was playing with Vessery and Maarek at ps7 and it really made me realize how many ps8s there are out there. For your list it might be less of a problem because of Vader, but since I didn't have another ace (shuttle instead), it was enough to get me to go VI Vessery and a cheaper EPT on Maarek

Experiment 1: you're basically flipping the shuttle to Omega Leader from list 1, with better ps on the Defender. I did well at the Mass Regional with 2 Defenders and omega leader, but I'd worry that jax isn't quite survivable enough w/o Palpatine. Soontir and his bonus focus makes a bigger difference than you might think.

Experiment 2: looks like it could be worth playing around with, but, again, without Palpatine the defender D is very vulnerable. Vessery will likely be the first to die and that costs you a big chunk of firepower (I run Vessery in a Defender D _with_ Palpatine and still have trouble keeping him alive). Also, from the EU, Vessery is male, if you care.

Experiment 3: I like it. 2 jukes are probably better than 1 and juke on Vader makes even his evade actions boost his firepower. I look forward to hearing how it works.

That Vader build in Experimental #3 has served me very well. It has become one of, if not the most common way I run him.

1) No i hadn't but now am considering the Jammer

2) yeah i've played that list against a mate, who was also testing for regionals, and for the life of me i couldn't beat him. though in saying that i was rolling poorly....

3) there are a few aces out there and some of them do have decent abilities.

4) the cool thing is i could swap in the Juking Vader (at 33pts) from experimental list 3 and still have a point spare for initiative.

5) I think the same problem will arise with Jax that you talk about in this list as well. though i did have a bit of a thought just now and i could throw in OLeader with juke and chuck on a twin ion onto Stele. 3 jukes could be better than 2...

The only thing about OL is that because he has the TL that blocks spending tokens his juke doesn't help the others. Of course you could TL one ship defensively and shoot at another...
