In a Magical Place called Michigan

Hi you may know me as that guy who sometimes shows when hats is a round. But I am here today to find a speaker of English who does not speak English, German, or Spanish Natively. I'm on a relatively important quest in pursuit of my MA at present to catalogue the sounds of a language I do not presently know.

What will be involved: Well obviously we'll have to do a voice chat at least a few times. I'll need to collect a few spoken samples from you no worries I have a fairly reliable method set up. Really that's about it I'll probe you about said "mystery" language to some extent and really from there it's just you speaking at me. Maybe an Hour or two maybe a few more hours worth of work that for you breaks down to a casual conversation with some random guy Find out all those embarrassing hats based secrets (I kid mostly).

Preferably the Ideal candidate would have a high quality mic, and if not native must have high proficiency at claimed language. Also this will not be published and your information and identity will be kept strictly confidential.

Just hit a Lopez or post here if interested.

Why Dakka? Well Why not? Honestly this is my last forum bastion on the internet my others have all slowly been shut down over time or no longer matter. And so I am here. Any interest is appreciated lack of interest is also appreciated. Thank you Dakka and Goodnight (not really I'm still here).

Remember Folks: Landmass is landmassy.

Are you paying for our time, or are you begging for volunteers?

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

Please see the sticky thread about the rules regarding threads in the off-topic forum. They must still be a topic of conversation (which this is not).
