Hey mates. Things are going well as I am in position to get my first 2000 point list of Inquisition allied with Militarum Tempestus going. With that being said, I am just curious on what models or bits you used to make and represent your Acolytes for your Inquisition Warbands. Currently have an idea to use Militarum Tempestus models and convert the Hot-Shot Lasguns into Bolters by basically cutting off the lasgun barrel of the Militarum Tempestus Hot-Shot Lasgun and then gluing on another barrel from a bolter or different weapon. Has anyone tried this conversion before and how did it turn out? And also, if not using a standard Bolter for the conversion, what would be another option to represent a Bolter Gun Barrel from other models, kits, bits, etc. Looking for all different ideas to complete this project and I appreciate the help mates.

I haven't tried it yet, but I've had my eye on this tutorial for when I get around to making my acolytes: http://bitsaddiction.blogspot.com/2015/02/storm-trooper-boltguns-how-i-did-it.html.
