Can anyone recommend a round base for the Seraphon Dread Saurian? I found a square one by Tamiya that I thought would work well, but the base edges are unusual for AoS.

If you know the size of the round base that would work, that would help as well.

I would not put it on a base.

I'm definitely putting it on a base. Technically in matches I think you have to. Unless you just play with your friends.

No. The core rules do not require a model to be on a base. From the Age of Sigmar rules (Tools of War, 1st page):

A model’s base isn’t considered part of the model – it’s just there to help the model stand up – so don’t include it when measuring distances.

It is however a common house rule for base to base measurement, so check with your group or tournament organizer to find if such house rule is in effect.

Having built one, I think you're best going for this base:


It's the base for an Imperial Knight, and while parts of the tail might hang off the overall body and head should fit just fine.
