I'm completely new to Age of Sigmar - I wasn't too thrilled when the rules first came out, but now I've decided to give it a whirl (mainly because my army of Chaos Dwarfs is languishing in its box).

In the forgeworld download for the Legion of Azgorh warscrolls, it says that I can substitute in the warscroll for 'Goblins' to represent my Hobgoblin Cutthroats, and I've got a few queries about that.

1- What were 'Goblins' at the time now equate to 'Gitmob Grots' - is it legitimate to use these instead, or should I be using the old warscroll?
2- Both Goblins and Gitmob Grots have the 'Destruction' keyword, and so wouldn't be able to be taken in a Chaos aligned army (as far as I can tell). Would we just ignore this, or count them as chaos?
3 - How does all of this interact with my chaos command benefits?

Hi there - fellow LoA player here. Chaos Dwarfs are amazing fun to play - I've only done three battles, but am having a great time with them... I may never go back to Destruction. Perhaps I've been corrupted.

I actually e-mailed FW last week, with HobGobs being one of my questions. Here is their reply:

"Thanks for contacting us. While we can't give you any official answers as these would only be published in an errata/faq by out studio, we can give you our house rule interpretations for what we believe the intentions were for the way the rules were written.

For the Pyrelock Weapons rule this should really say '...rolls of a 6 or more' so please treat this rule as such.

For the Goblins used in Legion of Azghor armies treat them as having the CHAOS keyword in addition to anything else."

So, officially, no answer. But, when it comes to Gobs, I'd use the GHB points values (as well as their battleline status), give them both CHAOS and LEGION OF AZGORH keywords, drop the GITMOB and DESTRUCTION keywords and use the old Orcs and Goblins Compendium warscroll, if there is any significant difference. I'm not sure how that would line up with the Goblin Warboss' command ability, though, but any CHAOS or LOA command abilities should affect them normally - the warboss would be something you'd have to ask your opponent/tournament organizer.
