This is a scratchbuilt fictional tank loosely based on the Legion Sicarian Battle tank. This tank was constructed from plasticard , old toys, old electronic parts etc . I painted and weathered the tank and added custom made decals of my own design in Photoshop. Let me know what you think!

Loosely based?

Id say that's got a strong scarian influence.

Still a good model though

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

I liked the design and paint job. But I see a weak point - how cannons are attached to the turret. It makes it too "proxy" look

Impressive!
As said above, the point where the cannons attach to the turret could be smoother or covered with some shield/guard.
The rest is so smartly made and painted the turret looks out of place.

It does look like a sicaran tank. 10/10 would play with it though.

Terrific job on the build and especially on the weathering! I spent at least 20 minutes just studying the photos trying to ID what-all 'junk' parts you put together to come up with a very cohesive look.

I enjoy the same aspect f the hobby- using a commercially produced 'something' as a guide/goal/aspiration and then combining odd and/or random parts to try to create something of my own.

Keep it up- I very much want to see more of your work.

This is incredible. Your home made decals, 'no step' labels and so on are awesome touches too. The chunky rivets are very 40k!

This is exactly up my street, I built a few 40k inspired card tanks a while ago. Your results make me want to do more again!

Looks great, I love the chunky side guns. I also like the way you've done the weathering.
