Haven't heard much in the way of Cent Star lists lately....is this because they've fallen out of vogue or because it's just somewhat boring to talk about tactically?

Anyway I'm thinking I'll do a 3 source list:

1) GK Nemesis Strike Force
2) White Scars Allied
3) Red Scorpions Allied

Only down side is that bringing Loth gets rid of the inherent hit and run of the star, but they keep the relic and loth's great power-picking abilities, plus I throw in Stern for guaranteed sanctuary, draigo for guaranteed gate and have a second GK Libby fish for fun things on fulmination, etc.

Other thoughts on cent star? How do you run it nowadays?

Put Celestine in it for extra tankiness and hit'n'run. Loth isn't needed necessarily if you take lib conclave. Conclave can also be given Storm shields if they're in Terminator armor to get some more invulnerable saves.

EDIT: A Centstar placed second last weekend in a 40 player tournament. It had 5 cents, WS libby with eye, UM Lib conclave with Tiggy and 3 others, Celestine, Priest from Imperial Agents, and 3 Inquisitors, one of which was Coteaz. So a lot of characters to make one unit work.

If you are tailoring against Tau with Riptide Wings or Eldar with multiple WKs, the Cent Star is great great. Maybe ok against FMCs with 3+ armor. But it falls against MSU and other MSU type armies, or Daemons, it is bad.

For detailed configuration, maybe Loth in CAD with Cents and scout, then add in a White Scar Libby Conclave with one of them having Hunters Eye? Also, take more storm shields when your points allowed.
