Subject: Painting marble - A tutorial video what works well
I can testify the same principle works @ 40k scale as I managed to get genuinely convincing marble with airbrush black, airbrush white, and a fine detail brush on a 100MM square piece of perspex (on basecoat black).
For the "glazing liquid" I used vallejo's drying retardant:water:paint @ 1:1:2
The inverse works almost as well (black striped white marble) but i've had trouble getting a smooth finish to start on as a consequence of a truly filthy airbrush.
Some people find the idea that other people can be happy offensive, and will prefer causing harm to self improvement.
