Some of whom included Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, Joe Rosenthal, Richard Nixon, Lyndon B. Johnson and J.F.K. And he has the signed photos and correspondence to prove it. I can't believe I'm only finding out about all of this now!

The best part is, the Antiques Roadshow is coming to our city very soon, and I'm sure they would love to see all of this! Especially the signed menu from Kenndy's inaugural dinner. You could have green turtle soup for a dollar.

That's pretty cool. I can't help, however, object to you billing Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis higher than LBJ and JFK!

We were once so close to heaven, St. Peter came out and gave us medals; declaring us "The nicest of the damned".

“Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'”

Well I should have mentioned that he's dead, unfortunately. But he came to america after WW2 and eventually became a radio show host in San Francisco, where he was also the Grand Marshal of the St. Patrick's Day parade. This was how he came to know all those people and why he was invited to Kennedy's inauguration. Something about successful Irish Americans banding together.

Way cool! Are you going to try and get the Kennedy Inauguration menu on Antiques Road Show?

Sadly it's not up to me. It's up to my great aunt and she's crazily protective of this stuff. It's why I'm only finding out about it now. I would like too though.
