Hello all,

I am a huge fan of the Celestial Vindicators, but I do not like the very light color from the Youtube video GW came out with. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrhBI7s0_AQ
I wanted something more like https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/564x/98/a4/c0/98a4c09e29eb6f3d43a8c349f3bc8ebd.jpg and https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/54/ae/37/54ae37325414d4a018ba868841e5b080.jpg but I'm having alittle bit of trouble figuring out what paints to use.

I started out with Steggadon Scale Green and then thought a Nuln Oil wash, reapply SSG and then mix SSG with a white for highlights, but this didn't quite turn out the way I thougt it would.

Does anyone have any tips on how I can come close to the scheme on the pictures (links, I will try to post pictures soon)?

Also, how do you paint your Celestial Vindicators/Got any pictures?

Have a great evening!

I guess you could try mixing Stegaddon with Sotek. Then give it a highlight with pure Sotek and lastly a final highlight with Temple Guard.

@CragHack Thanks alot man!

Stegadon and Sotek = Match made in heaven, it worked!

Gonna try a few ways to highlight it, but I remember that I had mixed Stegadon and Sotek a while back, but didn't write it down.
