Watched a game where someone joined a Primus Medicae to a 10-strong Gal Vorbak squad. His opponent asked if that was legal since Daemons in 40k can't be joined by non-daemon models and vice-versa. Is there any clarification for that in 30K? I was under the impression that the Daemonic Instability rule was the one that prevents this, and not the Daemon USR itself.

Gal vorbak don't have daemonic instability.

I know apothecaries can't be attached to daemon units. Primus should be OK..

Can't recall if there is a specific GV restriction..

There's no restrictions on the Gal Vorbak. I've ran characters with them, and use them as a body guard to Lorgar. As was said above, they don't have Demonic Instability. Just Demon and that USR doesn't prohibit characters from joining.

It's fluff too, as the leaders of the Legion see the Gal Vorbak as the closest to the gods.
