How would one go about arming one of these? Weapons, equipment, the Tempestor Prime's gear - how would you advise it to be set up?

I'm about to use one for the first time, so I can't say with authority. I think I'm going to leave them lean and stash them somewhere safe. They're mostly there for the orders. I'll be more aggressive with the deep strikers and hopefully recycle them late in the game with the Castellans formation special rules. If I did load them up I'd do volley guns and go for high ROF.

4x Plasma has done well for my command squads. Give them the Preferred Enemy or Twin Linked order to deal with those pesky Gets Hot rolls. For the Prime I just give him a Bolt Pistol as the Hotshot Las Pistol is so short range that it rarely has the opportunity to do anything. Often times if I'm close enough ill have the Prime throw a Krak Grenade instead.

4x plasma is great. I also like to take a unit with 4 volley guns or bare for some more orders on other squads (usually the ten mans) this way I can take advantage of orders like sniper and rending against MCs and such.
