Hi,

Next February 20th Vedra Games is going to launch a new Kickstarter campaign of sci-fi vehicles for the wargame COLONIAL SPACE WARS.

The preview is available here:

This time, the Kickstarter exclusive model will be this awesome Battleloid Commander!:

Here you have an example of the models produced in the previous crowdfunding...

I know you list a scale range.. you list the infantry from the previous project as 18mm.. which is really kinda oddball. Is there any chance we could see these next to other ranges for comparison? Are the vehicles to scale with 18mm or are they less strict (some of them look closer to 6mm from the pictures).
It's one of those things.. I like the look but if it isn't similar in scale to my existing 15mm collection I just can't buy in :/

Rebel minis has some super cheap sci-fi dudes if you want to find a place to get a comparison model.

In any case, best of luck!

Thanks MLaw,

Yeah, we know the range of scales used for the different units of CSW can create some confusion. Here you have a comparison we posted in a previous campaign:

As you can see the infantry models are slightly bigger than the standard 15mm, but they can pass as tall humans.

Vehicles are presented in a smaller scale (10-15mm), because for gaming purposes they must fit in 50mm bases. The model in the next image is a Hunter, a scout light vehicle with a single pilot.

Here you have the APC (and Hunter) with other models from Planetfall and Epic:

In our preview there is an image that might help too:

Cheers.

The vehicles look more like 6mm scaled stuff, slightly chunkier, but more correct compared to the Epic vehicles which always looked tiny compared to the infantry models...

Umm, i donĀ“t think so. Check those Planetfall vehicles, which is a 10mm wargame. I find the CSW APC definitively of the same scale... or even bigger. ~
