Well I went shopping and that's what I can field right now:

Kharn

20 Tacticals, Artificer, Fist, Bolter, Pistol, CCW
20 Tacticals, Artificer, Fist, Bolter, Pistol, CCW
20 Assault Marines, Artificer, Fist, 4x Powersword

10 Tacticals, Bolter, Rhino
10 Tacticals, Bolter, Rhino
6 Tactical Support, Melter
6 Tactical Support, Plasma
6 Tactical Support, Flamer
1Rhino (for one Support Squad)

Bot, Kheres, Fist
3x Doc (1 with Jumppack) for the large troop squads
5 Red Butchers (Chainfist, 4x 2 Axes)

5 Captaphracti (1 Flamer+Chainfist, 4xClaws)

I definitivley want to run the bold ones. I'm willing to shelf the other tacticals.

Should I invest in tanks (Spartan, Sicarian) or in some Antigrav (Jetbikes, Landspeeder) or in more Bots (I will probably add a double-Kheres-bot and a double-fist-bot)?

Spartan is always good. Javelins are good too.

The Support Squads need transports to function well, but honestly they aren't that important to World Eaters, imo.

Dudes with chainaxes are vital.

I wouldn't run a 20-man Assault Squad, as it gets a bit unwieldy. Just my opinion. Also, CHAINAXES.

Wouldn't hurt to invest in Gahlen Surlak, so you can turn some of those Tacticals into Inductii.

You may want a Deredeo Dread for AA work. Leviathan in a Pod is also just mean.

A lot rides on your budget and wants for the list.

I am expanding my WE as well.

As for troops your set! I wish I had that many. haha. But you need armor and vehicles. Its real fluffy also. WE had a crap load of armor and were good at it (only to get them closer and into the fight faster)

Do your 20 man tactical squads all have bolt pistols and chain axes? If not I would invest in a bunch of chain axes.

As for armor and new buys, I would get a Spartan (or two if you have the cash and for larger games, this will allow those 20 man squads to hit enemy lines more reliably), I would also get your primarch (Even though they said they will release newer and stronger version of the traitoris primarchs) But who knows when that will be. Probably a long ways away. Probably after khan.

I would maybe get 5 more red butchers as well.

Maybe 2 x landraider mark2's. Use them as landraider phobos assault vehicles for your smaller squads. Sicarans are sick. Either variants work well.

For cheaper buys (Id get an ebay Contemptor dred with the kheres and the CCW. Then you can add the chainfist from spare bits.)

IDK about jetbikes and landspeeders (Probably a good option).

Also some notable options would be a typhon, some quad mortars, lightning strike fighter.

But go with what you think is cool. I think a 20 man squad with Kharn and a apoth in a Spartan, a 20 man squad with a rad grenade forgelord and an apoth, then a typhon siege tank, and some assault marines would be very cool to play.

I like to add stuff you can't have in 40k.

The Forgelord sounds fun, but I already have Chainaxes on EVERY squad, so the to-wound-roll shouln't be a problem.
It would be a nice combo with Inductii+Chainaxes=S6 vs. T3 because I would be able to ignore FnP. But that would cost me both HQ slots and I really want to keep Kharn, so no Forge Lord.
Maybe a Moriat with Plasmapistols. I saw the model on the Heresy Weekender and it looks to cool to ignore it.

10 Red Butchers sound like fun, but wouldn't it be too much overkill?

For the FA: Lightning or Interceptor? I need some AA (I don't like the Dederoo Model) and something to stop tanks.

Heavy support: At least on Spartan.
A Sicaran and a Leviathan in a Pod will round it up.
Or two Spartans and a Leviathan? The Spartans can kill tanks as well, can't they?

Surlak is the best go-to for another HQ for WE. Forge Lord is cool, but not really that vital, because of your stated reason.

Moritats are kinda bleh. Destroyers are kinda awful. Sadly.

5 Red Butchers can be overkill, depending on the target and what rides with them. 5 in a Spartan or Phobos is pretty good though.

If you don't do a Deredeo, go for the Xiphon. That kills aircraft pretty well with that S8 AP2 ML that forces re-rolled Jink/Cover and does d3 select-highest for Pens. With two TL Las on top of that, it can be your backup antitank too and also tear up stuff like Javelins.

Sicaran Battle Tank is good, but I would say Spartan and Leviathan in Pod is the way to go. Not sure you can fit much more, even at 3k the list gets tight fast, especially if you take a LoW (Typhon!).

Go with what you think will be fun and look cool.

I would say you def on the right track with what you want to get.

I would start with a few transports and tanks first though for priority. Then hit some more butchers etc later.

If I were you I would start with:
1. Spartan (def need some armor protecting your inductii and its so good)
2. sicaran (I have both variants, allows me options, I like them both for different reasons)
3. ziphon or lightning (I like the aesthetics of the lightning model more so I got that, Also its a beast for close air support, not just specialized in more AA like the xiphon)
4. leviathan (def will take some fire off the Spartan when that thing is in the back field tearing *&^% up)
5. landraider mark 2 (cheaper option for your 5 x man red butcher squad, allows an assault transport/ phobos/plus cool conversion options, without having to use up your Spartan)

then maybe another Spartan, landraider, butchers later down the line.

Just my two sense tho. Again get what ya want and what you think looks cool and is fun to build, paint, and play.
