Well last week got HH bug and ordered bunch of stuff from FW. Then I noticed local(ish) store had Burning of Prospero on discount(with postages about same in euro's as in GB so exchange ratio's worth of discount basically) so ordered that too. Unsurprisingly that arrived first so have been painting those recently. First 6 tactical veterans and 5 tartaros terminators are now as done as I can get now(well maybe add battle damage and wear later). Tacticals need FW shoulder pads that I have ordered and am waiting, sarge need combi weapon, all need bases which require order from firestorm games to arrive(alas some of the basing stuff is out of stock but couldn't find any store that HAD all available) and terminator heavy weapon guy needs magnets(couldn't decide between heavy flamer(most common I think) and reaper autocannon so since it looked like easy to magnetize I'll try that one).

Also got the first FW order yesterday.



This will keep me busy for a while! I have already cleaned(I hope sufficiently. First time in ages with FW stuff. Last was epic armageddon stuff when it was still around so mid 2000's I think?) all the mkiv bits for battle of calth, first vindicator laser destroyer and justicaerin squad. Also assembled cataphract termies and clipped legs of tactical marines ready for gluing the resin torsos.

Screwed up with the vindicator though. Didn't look carefully enough "assemble rhino to this stage" photo and didn't notice it was missing outer track piece and tracks so assembled those as well. OOPS! Can't build vindicator destroyer anymore. Well not major problem. I'll go today grab rhino box and get myself rhino for sons of horus as well as destroyer. Had been planning to get rhino's later anyway so not huge problem. Albeit had been planning to have the FW older version but guess 2 newer mark(I have one 2nd hand rhino already I'm planning to turn into SoH rhino) won't kill me. They will have combi bolters rather than storm bolters at least.

But more care in future least I ruin expnsive FW model! Started dreading idea of assembling say warhound titan though. At least this one doesn't have nearly as detailed assembly guide as GW has...
