Subject: Question about drop pods, deep strike and modeling combi weapons

Okay some more beginner questions. Sorry!
a) Legion drop pods. These can basically be bought only with certain rites of war? Orbital assault in particular. So buying just one or two is not going to be useful right? For that I should be looking at the sons of horus speciality drop pod variant(kinda expensive point wise!)
b) Terminator deep strike. Not that common in 30k it seems. Am I right that basically I would be looking for sons of horus basically Horus or Abaddon, black reaving ROW for justicaerin or orbital assault? That or I need to get the SoH drop pod.
c) Quick modeling question. I was planning to have combi meltas with justicaerin. However I screwed up order and only bought one set of terminator weapon set that had combi weapons so have just 2. Would it look bad to have combi meltas from combi weapon set along side?

Do the Sons of Horus still poses their own Drop pod variant? I had the Impressionen that the Dreadclaw was moved to acessable by all Legions with the last red book.

Ah well it might be more available though could swear I ran into it yesterday on SoH part of the legions book. Was just quick glance at the book though(was more interested in washing and assembling models than reading rulebook for game I can't play yet before I get them painted).
Either way that special drop pod. Pretty model but expensive point wise. Though at least provides some protection from shooting as enemy needs to drop it first.

Anyone can take the dreadclaw as a Fast Attack choice, although some Rites of War might forbid it. My Imperial Fists have one on their list.
I think Sons of Horus' special thingy is that they can take them as Dedicated Transports. I don't have my books at work, though.

a) yep really orbital assault and my wonderful Raven Guard's Decapitation strike RoW give access to legion drop pods
b) Imperial fists have access to teleportation transponders, but other than them and SoH I can't remember who else, maybe alpha legion?
c) Just depends on you, I have seen people use the Betrayal at Calth termies with the combi-weapons from the Mk4 sergeants sprues and they look fine to me, though some might have issue. I don't think it's worth the money/headache of ordering more, but that's just me

Like the over/under combi-weapons that Power Armored marines (generally) use versus the side-by-side combi-weapons that Terminators use? Over/Under on a terminator would look a bit odd, but I would have no problem with it. It's clear what it is. Incidentally, side-by-side combi-weapons on PA look better, IMHO. This vs this?

Wow nice armour. Care to tell how you did it? I had been planning on going just black with grey highlights.
