I currently have 3 Tactical Squads, 2 Terminator Squads (Normal not Assault), a LR Crusader, a Rhino, a Ven. Dreadnought, Drop Pod, Terminator Captain, and a Stormraven. I was wondering if anyone knows what i should add to this army to improve it.

What sort of direction do you want the army to go in? Are you aiming to be able to meet a Strike Force requirement of any kind?

How competitive do you want to be?

What Chapter Tactics do you want to use?

Im using Ultramarine Tactics. My aim is just to have a Take-All-Comers Army for any type of game.

I’d build up to a battle demi-company. Not only does it have some nice perks, it feels like how a fluffy SM should play.

You have the tacs (although could use another transport for them) so just need the FA/HS picks.

A Dev box is probably the easiest thing for the heavy. I like LCs for the camping role, but there are perks for most of the guns. Cents aren’t bad, but they really need to be worked around to get to their full potential (which, admittedly, is high)

There are a ton of options for the fast slot. Bikes are going to be the most competitive. Assault marines are classic. I enjoy a pair of TML/HB speeders is mech lists. Really no bad options.

I’d then start looking at the other formations to see what you like. Getting a gladius (even without the full company free transport, just a basic one) is a solid list. Looks like you are one vet squad from a 1st co TF. Sternguard are one of our better units. Not that far from a strike force ultra (no idea how good they are, never used it)

You have that LRC, but no real good assault unit to put inside. Some assault terminators, or an honor guard squad would do nicely.

Jump Assault Squad or Bike Squad. You like to shoot but you also like a decent assault option from what I gather. Both shoot decently and can assault decently. They can be equipped in ways to promote one or the other better. They also solve a big issue of your army lacking movement outside of depending on transports. If your wanting to make an Elite / Troop army from what I also kinda see you doing. I would say just another Rhino or maybe a Razorback, that would give you another option to transport tactical squads.

Landspeeders, they are cheap ]the perfect objective grbber and not bad at killing things.
