o some models can 'add' new ghouls or Crypts to a unit with abilities, how does that work, break it down fully for me, what are the limits to that, where does those models come from, the summon pool or spare ghouls you brought for it? Though It's more than likely that they come from the summoning pool, but do I take points out for that or are they free? I'm new to AoS and trying to learn things that I don't really have a grasp on yet, so please bare with me!
Any help will be nice c:

FYI: I lack the generals rule book and found a PDF of the DEATH book and just looking through it; can't find the PDF of the general rule book. But don't worry I DID buy the generals rule book, it's just not here yet xP!

In matched play you can't grow units past there starting number. But you can add ghouls to a unit that already took some damage(up to there starting numbers), this won't cost any points

Alright so . .For example.

I set aside 300pts for summoning; I have a unit of ten ghouls they started out as ten at the start of the game. They loose two units and I was able to add two more ghouls back to that squad without using any points from the 300pt summoning pool? I just want to make sure and thank you for your response bud!

The death command abilities that let you summon do not let you add to an existing unit they are specifically to create a new unit and therefore under matched play currently costs reinforcement points. A lot of the other abilities that you tend to see, for example on flesh-eater courts courtiers or the skeleton banners,, let you add or replenish models in a unit a d don't cost reinforcement points.
